Nixit is a period care company. they make my all time favorite suction-free, reusable, BPA-free disc-shaped menstrual cup. and they also carry everything else you’d need: like cleanser, wipes, and water based lube.
i’ve been using my nixit for 3 years. before that, i was using a traditional bell shaped menstrual cup, until i started having really bad pain with the suction and trying to take it out. paired with my iud, i was in panic mode when i used it. i knew i needed something different immediately - because i also wasn’t going to go back to using uncomfortable disposables like tampons.
i got the nixit because it is not based on suction. and it’s completely changed the game for me. there are way more benefits than just non-suction. it’s more comfortable and doesn’t trigger cramping like the bell shaped cup, it’s great for mess free sex, it’s easy to empty without having to remove it, it’s also very easy to insert and remove. i can’t see any reason why i’d switch to anything else.
