may self care resource roundup

here's this month's roundup of meditations, resources, and exercises that i've been trying out! feel free to try them out and lmk how they resonate with you. what have you been trying out this month?

[this is a snippet of the resources I shared this month in the Patreon community. bounce on over there to see the rest!]

guided meditations

I haven’t been able to sit down for meditations lately. I’ve been falling asleep and a recent akashic records reading suggested to choose things like movement as my rest so I’ve been leaning into that. One way I’ve been practicing is by putting on a guided meditation while I’m doing movement, such as hitting the tennis ball in the basement or doing a short yoga flow, or as I am getting ready in the morning.

Sarah’s writing and words are pure magic to listen to. Beautiful, nourishing, supportive.

Playlist

🎧 Yoga: Winter’s End playlist

This has been one of my favorite yoga playlists for years now. It feels nostalgic to me because it was played at the studio I used to go to (it closed a few years ago), where I first began my yoga practice and began learning how to have a relationship with my body.

other exercises

I’ve been using this mantra and exercise every morning (I wanted to do it every night but it just wasn’t happening, so I added it first thing into my journaling practice in the morning and now I’m able to do it every day. habit stacking!!). This mantra is from a wise friend and pairs excellently with these exercises.
